FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New Trade Association formed for
Independent Club Owners and Operators
In a recent announcement by Mike Chaet and a group of independent club owners and industry vendors, a newly formed international association for independent club owners and operators is being launched. This new association is called ICOA or The Independent Club Operators Association.
The goal of ICOA is to help the Independent Club Operator compete with chains and other competitors worldwide. Membership is strictly limited to independent clubs. Chains and non-profits will not be part of the association. Chaet expects 3000-4000 clubs to join within the next 3-5 years.
ICOA has adopted the informative quarterly news journal Survive and Thrive as its official publication. All members of ICOA receive it free as a benefit of membership.
Mike Chaet, who will be helping to launch this association, said in a recent interview, "There's a need for this type of affordable association in our industry. And at $19.95 per month, there's no reason every independent club in the world shouldn't belong."
ICOA will provide the independent operator the perfect forum to exchange ideas, systems, programs and profitmaking strategies. Membership will include access to an informative, interactive web site containing useful features and ideas. It will also include year-round educational programs exclusively for the independent operator. ICOA will also have an annual international trade show.
